After graduating from law school, Andrew began his legal career practicing corporate law on the East Coast, where he developed a strong foundation in analyzing complex financial and business matters. In 2018, he returned to San Diego and transitioned his practice to family law, where his corporate law experience has proven invaluable in examining complex tax returns and financial documents, tracing assets and debts, and understanding the financial issues that can arise in family law matters.

Since transitioning to family law, Andrew has skillfully litigated matters involving international custody disputes, the division of complex businesses in divorce, and set-aside motions that threatened to reopen finalized divorce proceedings. He brings an analytical and measured approach to his practice, remaining calm under pressure while carefully evaluating the details of each case. Andrew is committed to understanding each client’s unique circumstances and priorities, using his experience and analytical perspective to provide thoughtful guidance and develop strategies tailored to their needs.

Andrew’s approach to representing clients is to keep their goals at the center of every case and ensure that he and his team are consistently working to advance them. He does not allow cases to become unnecessarily bogged down in the legal system and takes a proactive approach to moving matters forward so clients can reach resolution and move on with their lives. Representative matters include: 

• Represented a client who was repeatedly subjected to false restraining order requests by a former partner. Successfully cleared the client’s name and secured a substantial attorney fee award, bringing an end to the repeated attempts.
• Represented a client in a high-asset divorce involving business interests, real property, and other significant assets. Despite the complexity of the parties’ finances, negotiated a favorable settlement that protected the client’s interests and allowed the matter to be resolved within months rather than through years of litigation.
• Represented a parent facing allegations of child abuse during a contested custody matter. After carefully addressing and rebutting the allegations, secured primary custody of the child for the client despite an initial custody recommendation favoring the other parent.

Outside of practice, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children exploring San Diego, including Balboa Park and nearby amusement parks. He also enjoys tabletop gaming, cheering on the Padres, and seeking out hotels with a good ghost story.
