Adrian has practiced family law exclusively for more than fourteen years. He earned his degree in Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California, Irvine, where he competed as an NCAA Division I athlete in Cross Country and Track and received the prestigious Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2011, where he participated in the Vancouver Summer Abroad Program, and began his legal career as a civil litigation attorney in Los Angeles in 2012.

In 2014, Adrian transitioned to family law after relocating to San Jose. He moved to San Diego in 2018 and has continued to focus exclusively on family law, representing clients in a broad range of family law matters and litigation.

Adrian also brings experience as a Settlement Judge Pro Tem for the San Diego Superior Court, a role he has held since 2024. In recognition of his service, he received a 2025 Certificate of Appreciation from the Superior Court of San Diego for his exemplary, distinguished, and dedicated service. In this capacity, Adrian has volunteered his time to help settle numerous family law cases, both through the Superior Court and independently outside of his practice at Cage & Miles.

Adrian's approach to representing clients is to be a team player, trying to achieve settlement first and litigation second. Representative matters include: 

• Successfully litigated a bifurcated trial involving a highly contested dispute over the parties’ date of separation, with the parties presenting dates that differed by five years.
• Successfully obtained domestic violence restraining orders on behalf of clients in highly contested proceedings, advocating for clients and addressing related safety and family law concerns.
• Successfully litigated numerous evidentiary hearings involving the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS), advocating for clients in complex child support matters.
• Successfully obtained move-away orders permitting parents to relocate with their minor children and establish primary physical custody in counties outside of San Diego, diligently advocating for clients navigating the significant custody and relocation issues involved in these proceedings.
• Successfully rebutted the Family Code § 3044 presumption in a complex and heavily contested custody proceeding involving a three-year domestic violence restraining order, securing favorable custody orders for the client.

Outside of his legal practice, Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young daughters, especially making memories while vacationing together as a family. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and is the star of his recreational league team. He is also learning to play golf and enjoys getting out on the course whenever he gets the chance.
