Baharan Abdollahi takes a compassionate, steadfast, and collaborative approach to family law, providing clients with thoughtful guidance and strong advocacy during what can often be some of the most challenging times in their lives. Having worked in family law at Cage & Miles since law school, she understands the importance of clear communication and meaningful support throughout every stage of a case. She strives to ensure her clients feel informed, heard, and confident as they navigate the legal process.
She places a strong emphasis on thorough preparation and carefully crafted pleadings and supporting documents, helping position each client to present their case as effectively as possible to the court. Clients appreciate working with her because she is communicative, friendly, and empathetic, while remaining focused on achieving their goals and protecting their interests.

Baharan earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2025, where she developed a strong foundation in family law and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Family Law and Legal Writing. As a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Research, she strengthened her ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate them clearly. Through the University of San Diego’s legal clinics, she worked directly with individuals who could not afford legal representation on education and disability matters, gaining valuable experience supporting clients facing sensitive and challenging circumstances.
Baharan began her career with Cage & Miles as a law clerk during her final year of law school and joined the firm as an attorney after passing the California Bar Exam. Her prior experience clerking in both criminal and general civil law, combined with her hands-on family law experience at Cage & Miles, informs her thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to each matter. She represents clients in a range of family law matters, including child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, move-away cases, domestic violence matters, and property division, with an emphasis on clear communication, strategic advocacy, and ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.
Baharan’s approach to representing clients centers on ensuring they have a clear understanding of the legal process while maintaining transparent and consistent communication about potential outcomes. Representative matters include:
- Represented a client in a dissolution involving enforcement of a judgment after the opposing party sought support although previously litigated and resolved in the parties' legal separation judgment.
- Represented a post-judgment client in successfully defending against a $30,000 sanctions request.
- Assisted in representing clients in complex and high-conflict family law matters, including dissolution proceedings, contested child custody and visitation disputes, child and spousal support matters, and requests for attorney’s fees and sanctions.

A Washington State native, Baharan has made San Diego her home and enjoys its beautiful beaches and strong sense of community and connection. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, whether at home or while traveling. She also loves playing tennis and pickleball, exploring new local restaurants, and unwinding with a good book or favorite television show.
