Jaimee began her legal career in family law in 2006, first as a law clerk and later as an associate with Trabolsi & Levy. She practiced with the firm until January 2023, when she joined Cage & Miles. Jaimee has practiced family law exclusively since December 2006 and has extensive experience handling a wide range of family law matters.

Jaimee earned her law degree from UCLA School of Law, where she participated in the Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and served on the board of the Women’s Law Journal. Before attending law school, she earned a degree in social work from the University of Kansas and worked as a social worker, gaining early experience with family and child-related issues that would become central to her legal practice.

Throughout her career, Jaimee has handled dissolution of marriage matters, child custody disputes, support and modification actions, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence proceedings. She has extensive litigation experience and is also trained in collaborative divorce, mediation, and Specialized Alternative Dispute Resolution for high-conflict cases.

Jaimee’s approach to representing clients is personalized to each client’s unique goals. She listens carefully to her clients, keeps them informed throughout the process, promptly answers their questions, and takes action that aligns with their individual needs, objectives and goals. Representative matters include: 

• Represented a client in their divorce case from initial filing to entry of Judgment, which included litigation of child custody, child support, spousal support, and division of a multimillion dollar marital estate.  Required extensive legal research and writing, extended discovery, preparation of hundreds of exhibits, and ongoing negotiations and court appearances.  Achieved numerous successful results for client despite a highly uncooperative opposing party.
• Represented a parent through a multi-year, heavily litigated post-judgment custody dispute involving a move-away request, which required a court appointed child custody evaluator and minor's counsel and resulted in an award of custody to our client and permission to relocate.
• Represented a client in a divorce involving a premarital agreement, and secured a $14 million settlement in mediation despite a premarital agreement that included waivers of community property and support to client.
• Drafted and negotiated a premarital agreement tailored to each parties' circumstances and providing protection and preservation for the client's $200 million family estate

Outside of work, Jaimee enjoys spending time with her husband and their three busy children, who are actively involved in theater, dance, and music. When she is not driving her children to rehearsals or attending a theater performance, dance competition, or concert, she enjoys spending quiet time in nature, gardening, and horseback riding.
