Jennifer began her legal career in 2005 at Ashworth, Blanchet & Christenson, where she practiced exclusively in family law and developed a strong foundation in the complexities of family law litigation and negotiation. In 2023, she joined Cage & Miles, LLP, where she has continued to focus exclusively on family law, expanding her experience handling sophisticated financial and custody matters.

Over the course of her career, Jennifer has developed particular experience with complex property and financial issues, including litigation involving the characterization and division of carried equity interests, an evolving area of family law. She has represented clients in the negotiation and litigation of extremely high-net-worth estates and has worked closely with forensic accountants to analyze the valuation, characterization, and division of complex assets.

Jennifer brings a detail-oriented and compassionate approach to her practice. While her experience has prepared her to effectively litigate complex matters, she is focused on finding practical and lasting resolutions whenever possible. She takes the time to understand the unique circumstances and priorities of each client, using her experience and careful attention to detail to help clients navigate difficult issues and make informed decisions throughout the process.

Jennifer's approach to representing clients is to determine how to achieve a fair and equitable resolution in their case and avoid the significant costs of trial whenever possible. Representative matters include: 

• Represented Husband in a contested divorce and achieved a favorable outcome in settlement where wife agreed to a buy-out of spousal support after a long-term marriage
• Assisted in the representation of Wife in an extreme case of domestic violence with high assets to be divided and assisted in negotiating a settlement where client received a disproportionately higher settlement in the family law matter
• Represented Husband in a case involving significant parental alienation and assisted in restoring his custodial time with the minor child
• Assisted in the representation of Husband in enforcing Husband's Premarital Agreement against Wife and negotiating an extremely favorable financial and child custody settlement after several days of trial

Outside of her legal practice, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new destinations around the world. She is actively involved in her community, having served as Team Parent for her son’s high school lacrosse team for four years. In 2026, she was honored with a “Volunteer of the Year” award in recognition of her contributions. Jennifer also volunteers with Boys Team Charity, a community service organization for high school boys, where she serves as a Volunteer Liaison and Team Parent.
