Meet Larisa

Larisa is a Senior Associate at Cage & Miles who is enjoying over 15 years of being a Family Law attorney. She works daily to advance her client’s interests while communicating with opposing counsel, experts, and the Court – be it in letter, email, telephone, or pleading format. Larisa engages directly with clients, while being mindful of the financial and emotional costs of family law proceedings, and advises them on the various avenues that can be taken in their case including litigation, mediation, and/or settlement negotiations.

Larisa assists clients through the disclosure and discovery phase of their case which can be daunting and overwhelming. She also regularly prepares cases for proceedings, settlement conferences, and when necessary for Trial, and has negotiated and drafted countless Stipulations and Judgments. In fact, drafting Judgments is one of Larisa’s specialties within the firm, as her attention to detail and precision are critical assets when drafting the most important document in a case. Clients appreciate working with Larisa because she is detailed oriented and mindful of the financial and emotional costs of family law proceedings

Attorney Specialties: High-Net-Worth Divorce, Child Custody and Child Support, Legal Separation, Mediation

During law school Larisa clerked for the Honorable John Slawson and the Honorable Glenda Veasey, Los Angeles Superior Court judicial officers in Family Law and graduated with a Concentration in Family Law. After passing the Bar Larisa worked as a volunteer attorney at Public Counsel Law Center (the largest pro bono law firm in the country), in their Early Care and Education Law Project. Later that same year, Larisa joined the team at Trabolsi, Levy, Gabbard, LLP where she worked for 14 years until it was dissolved. Larisa, along with many of her former TLG co-workers, joined Cage & Miles to establish their Los Angeles office in 2023. Larisa has undertaken Mediator training and takes cases where she works as an attorney representing or consulting with clients who are in Mediation.

Larisa's approach to representing clients is to communicate clearly and honestly so that she can best navigate them through their case. Representative matters include:

  • Worked on cases with complex and high net worth financial issues involving forensic accountants, assisting with the preparing and finalizing of discovery, disclosures, and reports such as Property Balance Sheets, Income Available for Support, Marital Standard of Living Analysis, and Business Valuations
  • Consulted with clients in Mediation to help them better understand the process, their rights under the law, advise them through the Mediation process, and review all agreements
  • Prepared cases set for Trial for settlement conferences which have resulted in settlement instead of costly Trial
  • Drafted and negotiated countless settlement agreements and Judgments finalizing the agreements for the Court
  • Member, State Bar of California
  • Member, Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) – Family Law Section
  • Member, Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) – Family Law Section

Larisa is a native of Hermosa Beach. After years living on the East Coast and Italy for college, and San Francisco for Law School, Larisa has happily settled back in the Los Angeles area to practice law.

Larisa lives with her husband, children, and cat. She enjoys getting messy doing arts and crafts and science experiments with her kids, volunteering at their schools and scouting activities, cooking, talking about food, traveling, and enjoying life in sunny Southern California.
