I came to Cage & Miles after being served with a restraining order filed by my ex. I was completely shocked and didn't know where to turn, I work in the medical industry and cannot afford a restraining order on my record. At first i thought Cage and Miles be like a normal high priced attorneys. Overall they do charge as they do need to make a living. However after I got my bill I was in shock didn't respond right away. Someone from Cage and Miles called me and said sorry we needed to adjust your invoice and gave me a lower price. For once, an attorney who puts the best interest of the client ahead of the billable hours. Jamie Cage was such a blessing, giving me excellent strategic counsel, which surprisingly did not include retaining her at that point in the case, but to continue as a pro per, potentially bringing her in at a later point in the case, depending on how things played out. Going through the family court system has been the most stressful thing in my life I've ever had to deal with. Although i currently disagree with the family court system and think it needs to be reformed. Especially when I was going up against an abusive high conflict mother with a drug addiction whom I share a child with. Christina Alkire at Cage and Miles gave me the best possible outcome I could've asked for. At first I had sole legal and physical custody with a 2 year permanent restraining order. Which I was extremely pleased with. A year later my child's mother took me back to court claiming she was a changed person and deserved more time and overnight visitations with our son. I was forced to re-retain Christina Alkire again. This time I winded up with joint legal custody but still have sole physical custody of our son. Although I disagree with the family court system and don't think an abusive mother with a high conflict personality disorder and a drug addiction should have over night visitations with a toddler. I got the best possible outcome and did my best to protect him in an extremely difficult situation. If you are looking for the best look no further than Cage and Miles. They work as a team and I know they did their best for me.

I retained Avi Levy on two occasions and recommend him as a family law attorney. He is an exceptional attorney with many strengths, including intelligent, persuasive, and likable. He also has excellent communication skills. Thus, he is able to capture the attention and favor of judges in court. Avi has strong problem solving skills, pays attention to details, and has a solid grasp of accounting (and math skills), which are often relevant in family law cases that require forensic accounting. He is indeed expensive, but if you have abundant financial resources to hire a top notch attorney you will not be disappointed. Avi will work hard to optimally defend your case and help protect your most important assets, including children and finances.

I moved my case from a big firm in Newport to keep Jillian as my attorney. Superlatives do not begin to capture her attention to detail, effective communication and ownership of the process. After a really bad experience with my first attorney, I decided to switch to Cage & Miles because a friend recommended them. So far, Ms. Cage has been amazing! The complete opposite of my last attorney (I'll have some mercy and leave his name out of this review). Ms. Cage has made me feel like her only client from the get go. She is very attentive to my needs and always responds promptly to my questions. My case is not over but so far Jamie seems to know her stuff and I am confident that she will fight for me.
