Chelcee Eads is a compassionate, responsive, and efficient family law attorney who takes a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every matter. With more than five years of experience practicing family law, she understands the importance of helping clients feel informed and supported throughout what can often be a challenging process. Known for her thoroughness and approachable demeanor, Chelcee takes the time to listen to her clients’ concerns, explain complex legal issues in an understandable way, and provide clear, direct guidance. Clients appreciate working with her because she combines compassion with straightforward communication, helping them feel confident and supported as they navigate their case.

Chelcee’s interest in family law began before she entered practice. While attending California State University, Northridge (CSUN), she interned at the Los Angeles Superior Court and worked as a legal assistant at a family law firm in Santa Barbara. She went on to attend law school, where she received academic excellence awards in Advanced Legal Writing/Professional Responsibility and Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as an academic merit scholarship. During her second year of law school, Chelcee joined Cage & Miles as a law clerk and has continued with the firm throughout her more than five years of practicing law. She was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2026.
Chelcee has developed significant experience across a range of family law matters, including drafting marital settlement agreements, legal research, discovery, child custody disputes, spousal support, child support, domestic violence restraining orders, and child relocation cases. She particularly enjoys working closely with clients to develop creative and equitable marital settlement agreements and takes pride in her attention to detail and ability to ensure clients understand every aspect of their case.
Chelcee's approach to representing clients is ensuring they understand every aspect of their case and can make an informed decision about how to best proceed. Representative matters include:
- Represented client in a child relocation case resulting in the ability to move with the child to another state.
- Assisted in the preparation of a Marital Settlement Agreement, ensuring fair and creative terms all parties were happy with.
- Represented client in a child support matter, ensuring accurate child support was ordered.

Outside of practice, Chelcee is married to a California wildland firefighter, and in her spare time enjoys reading, going to the beach, and going to baseball games (go Padres!). As the daughter of a United States Marine, Chelcee grew up all over the United States but has fallen in love with San Diego and all it has to offer.
